New Year’s Table Settings

Can you believe 2016 is right around the corner?  It really is mind blowing to me.  I feel like I just sent my kids off to their first day of school. Now we are celebrating the holidays and about to ring in a new year.  The weather here has been unseasonably warm in eastern VA.  I’ve always wanted to move to California after my kids graduate. This Christmas, at least the weather is a California Christmas.  It kind of feels weird though. Shorts in December feels a little off. Usually I’m layering scarves and coats. No matter what the temperature, these New Year’s table settings will knock your socks off. Are your thinking about your New Year’s resolutions as 2015 comes to a close and we start a new year?

I have really been into the metallic trend this year and mixing silver and gold has been so much fun.  I did a little bit with metallics in one of my Christmas vignettes and had so much fun creating it.  If you want to see that click here.  For New Year’s, I wanted to show that you can never go wrong with the classic table settings.  They will always be in style.

New Year’s Table Settings

gold setting New Year's Eve

White dishes with gold accessories and accents make

a lovely table setting for New Year’s Eve celebrations.  Add confetti, ornaments,

and candles to complete the look. Use this combination and you

are sure to have a winning table.

Black, white, and gold New Year's table

Using black and white dishes is one of my favorite color palettes.

Adding silver or gold as a metallic accent brings a nice

glam element to this look.  The pearl garland gives the final product

a very elegant feel. With this setting, you are definitely ready to entertain.

Happy New Year Friends

year was everything you dreamt it would be and more.  I hope next

year is even better!

Yours Truly,

Jenn
